I have a life long interest in amateur radio and hold an Amateur Extra class license with the callsign W1WH. My other primary interest is flying. I'm also an ARRL Volunteer Examiner, and previously was a volunteer pilot for Angel Flight, an organization providing air transportation for needy medical patients. I'm also a director of the Minuteman Repeater Association as well as the secretary of the New England Spectrum Management Council (NESMC).  I’m also a 4th Degree Member of the Knights of Columbus and additionally founded and manage the "Knights of Columbus Net", an international HF radio net for members or prospective members of the Knights of Columbus.

Professionally, I've developed hundreds of wireless sites and fiberoptic inline amplification facilities throughout New England, Florida and the southeast United States, and am currently project manager for Sprint-Nextel's new build CDMA and iDEN New England wireless site deployment based out of Bedford, Massachusetts.

My wife Jane and I are also members of Mensa. Other interests include reading and listening to music ranging from baroque to Jimmy Buffett as well as spoiling my five grandchildren.
